This water drum set includes two hand-painted drums, approximately 18 cm and 33 cm in diameter. It produces a warm light timbre and underwater bass tones. Traditionally played by women from West African cultures like the Senufo and Malinke, the larger bowl is filled with water, the smaller bowl placed upside down on it, and the sound, influenced by the water level, is played with hands or padded mallets. Origin: Mali, Ghana, Guinea.
