The professional Kenkeni Dundun Drum also known as a djun djun drum is a rope tuned African instrument that is made from a solid bamboo shell and has an extra thick goats skin drum head. There are many versions of this type of drum and the kenkeni is the smallest variation that produces the highest pitch when played. This drum is loved for its authentic African tone and the wide range of sounds that it can create. 

This lightweight Kenkeni Dundun Drum comes with a few accessories too, with each purchase you will also receive a solid wood beater and a padded beater which will help differentiate the sound that the drum is famous for.
