The hand crafted Boing Stick has a stunning dot painted tribal floral design and is similar to our stringed gobijeu instrument. It has an attached hanging loop for easy access in the studio. To play it, you can lightly hit the stick on the hand or a soft surface to produce a bouncy boing sound; it can have a subtle resonance or be played loudly to achieve a buzzing bee sound with a fast attack and faster release.
This Boing Stick is made from a single piece of bamboo cane and would be useful for sound design in movies, video games but could also be used as a sound effect.
