The African style Adesu Monkey Drum comes from is made from a wooden handle and are typically made from a goats hide paddle, materials can vary. It comes in two styles; red or white but features black and white striped detailing around the edge to highlight the instrument. Two solid wooden beads are found both sides of the paddle and when you twist the handle, the beads strike the paddle producing the sound.
This traditional hand drum is lightweight, and is a great addition to the classroom.
