Salut d'Amour, or Love's Greeting, is a beautiful and romantic piece of music composed by Edward Elgar in 1888. Originally written as a gift to his future wife, Caroline Alice Roberts, the piece was published the following year and quickly became a beloved classic.
The delicate melody is carried by the violin, accompanied by a gentle piano. The music evokes a sense of tenderness and affection, with a hint of melancholy. The piece is full of emotion, conveying the depth of feeling between two people in love. Salut d'Amour remains one of Elgar's most popular compositions, and it has been performed and recorded countless times over the years. Below you will be able to play it on the kalimba with our tab.
